Circle of Color Wool
This whole group is hand dyed Dorr, natural wool, dyed with our “Circle of Color” dye ring. We are starting with doing 20 cards to a set with three values of each color. This way you can build your color pallet to work from as you need them.
You can order the hand dyed wool in the following sizes. These are roughly the size piece you will get, this is after we have dyed, washed and dried it so it’s all ready for you to work with.

You can order the color planning swatch set that will give you groups of 20 over dyed natural wool in three values. This is giving you 60 colors to work with for color planning. We have two more in the works to will give you 180 colors! This is just for color planning and ordering our hand dyed wool. While every attempt is made to match from batch to batch there is always a slight difference. Please keep this in mind and make sure you order enough of the color and value you will need.
If you love to dye your own check out the “Dying with the Circle of Color” You can order The Dye Set to match all the swatches and do your own!
Just like the swatch set you will receive 20 swatches also, but it will include the formula we used to create them. This way you can color plan and recreate your own rainbows for rug Hooking or appliqué. You will need The Jaquard dyes that we use to replicate the formulas. The dyes we used will also be sold as sets to go with each set of cards. You will need Citric acid or white vinegar to set the dyes.
***You do not need the swatches to order any of the Circle of Color wools. We make every attempt to show the colors to the best of our cameras and computers ability. While what you see may not match the color exactly, our wool is so beautiful we think you’ll be pleased and everyone says it’s even nicer in person!
