The wire you use in your feather tree is very important! It must be a heavy gauge to support the wool your wrapping on it and it must be cloth wrapped to make sure the fabric attaches and doesn’t just twist off. These are 18 gauge cloth wrapped wire in 18in long packs, of 12 wires will give you enough for up to a very full branched 16in tree. For 18in up to the 20 you need two packs and the 22-24 needs three. If you need a cutting guide we have printed papers that give you how many branches for each size tree and what lengths to cut.
