Get a start on your autumn decorating. Learn the tricks to Hooking a 3-D pumpkin and how to put it together. Supplies needed: ½ yard (30 inches by 36 inches) linen, and ½ to ¾ yard of wool fabric to hook the pumpkin. Bring your hook, frame, cutter and scissors. Preferred size of cut: 8 or 8.5. You can use your own supplies or buy the wool and linen kit. Susan will have handouts with your pattern and directions ready for you in class and you start off with transferring your design.
Everyone will receive all the extras to make their pumpkin unique.
Susan Sutherland is an Ontario Rug Hooking Guild accredited teacher. She has taught rug hooking in Canada, Australia and the USA. She is also a member of ATHA, TIGHR, and the Nova Scotia Rug Hooking Guild. She has been rug hooking since 1979.
If you have linen and wool you can sign up for just the class at $40.00 and bring your own long half yard of linen, your backing needs to be 36x30 at least and 1/2-3/4 yards of wool.
Or you can sign up for the class with the linen and bring your own 1/2 - 3/4 yards of assorted wools in your color choice. $58.00

The students will get quite a bit of information and extras from Susan. She will have pumpkin stems for you, copper wire and a button for the end. Everyone in class will also receives a chibi needle for sewing your sections together. You will meet for class starting at 8:30 Tuesday morning and go till lunch time.
