It’s fun when practical and useful is cute too! We love little totes, baskets and caddies and the projects they hold! We love them even more when they are their own project too!

We have put together everything you need to make a fun band to go around the included tin caddy. The kit includes the caddy, the pattern on monks cloth to hook or punch, then we added a strong magnet to hold your scissors up out of your stitching and our favorite 6 inch wooden ruler to help with spacing on small projects! This does not include any wool.

You will make your own design on the pattern. I did a simple straight row hit and miss in gray wool cut in an #8.5 for mine. The caddy measures 6½" x 10½" x 7". The metal bucket features a wood handle. This vintage-inspired caddy is divided in four sections.

This is perfect to punch too! Our speckled punched piece was done by Donna L and she did it in a Saturday afternoon class! Because there is not a pattern there's no reversing anything and because its on monks cloth its perfect for punching!

You will need a little more then a quarter yard of wool to hook your design. I used 5 fat 1/16 in gray.

The wool, hook and scissors shown is not included

A jelly roll is the perfect pack of wool to hook up the project! The wool is uncut. I did my sample in a wide #8.5 this is a great project to hand cut too!

There are no instructions for this. We just hooked or punched the band, trimmed off the extra around the edges and then folded them down and used fabric glue to hold it and then glued the whole thing to the caddy with heavy duty adhesive.
The cool multi colored covered caddy was hooked by Lauri T and she even added a wooly penny to her magnets and lined the inside, bottom of her caddy to cushion it. We would love to see yours!
