Rug Show Details For South Carolina Hookin’

July 21,22 and 23 2026

For many years we were just the "Hookin"
The last few years our vendors and attendees have branched out into other fiber forms.
While our passion still is wonderful wool, carefully dyed, cut into strip and hooked through linen backing, many of us are now about so much more!
Oxford rug punching has had a huge growth, and we will have some vendors here only about punching. They will have their booths filled with reversed patterns and hand dyed yarns!
The mini Punch has gained in popularity due to The Old Tattered Flag buying the company
and working hard to update the image from grammies mice and fuzzy mushrooms
to intricate works of art. 
And we have to recognize Wool Appliqué! Stitchers and quilters have discovered how wonderful wool is to work with and they are right in love with the "new fabric" 
So all that being said, it only stands to reason that our "Rug Show" needs to honor and display all these categories. Below is our show structure now. We will have a beautiful ribbon for all the winners to display proudly and we know you all deserve recognition for the wonderful work involved. There is lots of time to work on new projects or finish up old ones and we hope you all bring work to proudly share and display. We welcome all skill levels.
