This fall we had very sad news when Carol Feeney announced she was retiring from the rug Hooking world. Carol was one of our original 7 at the Hookin we started in Sarasota that grew into the Punta gorda Hookin years later. She also taught at the Anne Eastwood school of rug Hooking in Sebring and she taught for Anne when it was just “Sebring”. She taught at our Hookin many times and joined us on our last rug Hooking cruise. Carols vibrant, wildly beautiful style was like her. If you think of the most wonderful sparks of color in your color plans and what they bring to the design you have what carol has given the rug Hooking world for many years. The thought of her designs sitting in a closet while she gets to travel, play golf and cruise was sad.. so we have been talking with her and today she delivered all her original design to us! Very soon we will have her collection on our website under our patterns as “Rugs By Carol @Searsport” Thank you carol for letting us keep your design alive and giving excitement to so many people who love them! Now mom needs to get drawing and  I need to get dying way out of my color wheel with vibrant purples, greens and sparky pinks and magenta’s LOL
