Primitive “Cross Stitching” Linen Blanks

These are by special request from a rug hooker who has fallen into the newest fiber fun! Cross stitching on linen! Not the fine tiny thread counts, but the wonderful more open weave of rug hooking linen! Remember a few years ago when we did it on the country creamery, loser woven wool? Well now they are doing it on linen and it’s wonderful! Really, really wonderful! And the hand dyed merino yarn that we dye for mini punch is the perfect threads to use! These are cut and serged so they don’t fray out on you while working. Please keep in mind, there are no lines or markings and these will be too small to hook on. The serged edging will be neutral to blend with the linen color. Photos coming soon showing the cut and serged pieces with the tan serged edges.
