Buttermold Sampler Book

** Please note if your doing appliqué or mini punch, like we did with our samples, we did them on 4 inch circles. We traced the pattern from the center of the 4 inch circles that are shown in the book, not the pattern samples shown to the side of the circles.
The ones to the side are to go on a 6 inch circle.
While we covered this in the video it’s not clear on here. 
‘for the Oxford punched samples we enlarged the patterns to fit an 8 inch circle. 
We got to see many of these all stitched by Julie F in the shop one weekend and as alway her work is beautiful! Julie used to stitch samples for us in a Maine and she teaches appliqué up there still. We hope to have her here for a workshop some day! But these 30 designs inspired by antique butter molds are so cute! You can do a Quilt size 54" x 63" but we love them as separate small works of stitching. She uses as coasters or on top of small boxes and jars. Watch for Wool bundles for these and pre cut 4 inch circles, 6 inch scalloped circles, thread packs and more coming soon!  I can’t wait to use the little designs for mini punch and think part punched and part appliquéd will be really cute!
These done as 4 inch circles also fit perfectly on our large 19 inch SCALLOPED circle with 8 scallops around the edges. It will be hard to pick only 8 to do! The perfect, fancy round foundation, ready for your stitching.
The thread pack is 10 matching balls of valdani #8 or #12

The colored wool pack is for the colors only, not the black circles or the cream circles. 
The 4 inch circles come packed 6 to a package.
