Kimberton N Whale

This great whale is by Kim Nissen. She designed it and gave us the design. it’s called “Kimberton N Whale” he’s a whopping 2 feet by 7 feet! So he is a great rug or wall hanging behind a bed or couch or buffet. Run him down a hallway on the floor or wall or hang him over some big windows! She hooked him in #9, #9.5 and #10 using a mixture of any dark or antiqu blacks, purples, brown and deep blues. Then she block hooked the back ground randomly. Some areas mixing wools and some doing in chunks of color. This gives a very vintage feel to the finished project. At least We think it has a very old feel to it. Hand drawn on our linen.
