We have very limited spots open for the mini punch class. This is a great session to add to either rug hooking session if you do mini punch. Micheal shares MANY samples, tips and techniques that she uses for her beautiful mini punch work. Just the finishing how to’s in this class makes it with the $75!  This is not a how to/beginner mini punch class it is all about how to do the stuff Michelle’s does ;) it includes morning sweets and lunch too!

You can choose Session #1 (Wednesday–Friday) 
Or the mini punch class on Saturday 
Or Session #2 (Sunday–Tuesday)
Class time is 9:30 to 5 each day and any time after 3 on the final day of each session if you need to leave early
**You will order and pay for your patterns for rug hooking and mini punch directly with Michelle when she contacts you. BUT You can use any pattern from any where you like. Even design your own. But keep in mind Michelle’s technique is a very painterly way of hooking and punching so you want something to help you expand your talent into these techniques ***
Each day begins with a complimentary breakfast and snack, followed by a hearty lunch. The classroom has snacks, beverages and treats out all day. Please let us know of any food allergies

After your registration is paid in full by July 1, 2027, Michele will contact you directly to discuss your pattern selection, color choices, and project details.

Lodging options are convenient hotels located just 3 miles from the studio, and beautiful bed & breakfast sits around the corner.
Please note you can pay a deposit now on either rug hooking session, with the balance due 7/1/27

Cancellation Policy: Full refund for cancellations before July 1, 2027.
Cancellations after July 1 are refundable only if your spot can be filled.

"Painting with threads..."
Punch needle is a nice excursion from my watercolor painting and design work.
I am inspired to translate my original paintings into fiber art patterns!
I originally planned to start a rug hooking hobby in 2011. When I went to purchase all of the tools and materials the shop owner could see the glazed look in my eyes. I knew I would enjoy it! I knew I could do it! However--- where would I store it all? My studio is small and already filled to the rafters with paints, fabrics, reference material... books, feathers, linens, shells, etc. (you know...) We walked around her charming shop and I saw a finished punch needle piece & fell head over heels for it! I was hooked! ;) The shop owner gathered the materials and sent me off. Two days later I was back at her door with a finished design. She asked me how I did it? I told her, "I simply painted with threads."
Some of my designs are very detailed. I try to share how to simplify.
