Half yards are long halfs so they are 30x36 unwashed
1/4 yards are fat quarters so they are 18x29-30 unwashed
You will need to wash all of the bolt wool you order. This helps soften and fulls it to make it even nicer to work with. It helps with setting colors and fraying.
We group like colors together and do a warm water wash, with a little detergent and a warm water rinse. Then popped in the dryer with a towel to help fluff it and speed up drying.
