The #8 fine or regular does a tall 1/2 in loop
The #9 fine or regular does a medium tall 3/8 in loop
The #10 needle does 1/4 in loops. This is the most popular size in a #10 Regular and I used it with a #8 strip just fine, but it does work best with 5,6,7 cuts.
The #13 Oxford Punch needle for use with Yarn, fine Cut Strips of Wool and Other Fabrics, it makes a 13/16 in loop.
The #14 Oxford Punch needle for use with Yarn, fine Cut Strips of Wool and Other Fabrics, it makes a 1/8 in loop.

This is just the needle of your choice and the handy stitch guide.
The difference between the needles are the height of the loops they punch, and the fatness of the yarn they will hold. A regular is for bulky yarn and cut strips from #3-#8 and a fine is for finer yarns and worsted weight yarns. or really fine strips.
