Quilly Strip Scrap Bags

These are our trimming from cutting our buds and branches twisting wool.
‘They are a mix of all the fall colors from our strips and buds twisting wool.

****They are not on the straight of the grain or intended for rug hooking****
But I have hooked with them a lot over the years. They offer variety in the width as you hook. You may go from a #4 to a #9 with in a couple of inches of the strip.
As long as your technique is solid and you’re not a snagger and get fully under your strip to pull the loops it’s fine.
You will experience some shredding though just because of the nature of each piece.

But what they great for is QUILLIES!!
And many have an inch wide strip that’s roughly 5 inches across on the ends. Not all but most. So you can coil them, ruffle, them, wrap them and pleat them! 
Each bag is at least 5 oz of cut scrap wool a fat qtr of wool weighs at least 4 oz +/-
