Special Embellishments Workshop: Work on one of Vicki's patterns, Searsport’s, or bring one of your own. Tons of techniques and materials shared during this 3 day workshop. 2 demonstrations daily, including 3D basket weaving, needle weaving, rolled flowers, embroidery, proddy enhancements, stems, lines and much more. These techniques will add new skills to your rug making, with an opportunity to try them with hands on help.
If you were one of the lucky ones to get into Vicki’s sold out classes at the Hookin’ you know how much fun she is! If you didn’t get in this is your chance to spend 3 days taking your rug hooking embellishing to another level.
Class includes 3 days of instructions from 9-5 on Friday and Saturday and ending any time after 3 on Sunday if you need to leave early. But your welcome to stay till 5.
Each day we will start the day with a nice morning breakfast/snack, then a hearty lunch and in the afternoon there are snacks, treats and beverages available all day in the snack bar area of the classroom. We also would like you to join us Saturday night for dinner.
The class is Friday to Sunday 4/30-5/2 but come early if you can on the 29th and join us Thursday at open hooking from 10-4 and get settled in the classroom and meet our local hookers too! This is a fun freebie to add to your trip and we hope you can join us for the extra day.
Once you register for class your info will be given to Vicki to discuss your project for class and pattern pricing and info. She will be in contact with you asap.
