Everything’s Blooming

Erica Kaprow has always enjoyed sewing. She now combines her love for wool dyeing, quiltmaking, and embroidery to make rich wool appliqué quilts. Look for the Everything’s Blooming bundle to go with it in our bundles.

Debbie is stitching the incredible sample in the pictures. She used assorted 10 inche squares from the Rebekah Smith collection of wool to mount her black squares on. Then instead of doing all those small boarders she spread them on a large piece of black wool. This created her black boarder and her back all in one piece. She used the matching threads to blanket stitch her black square to the matching colored square.
