What IS a Hookin’, Stitchin’ or Punchin’?
Well, you should come see for yourself July 21,22,23, 2026! Right here in Irmo, SC!
The hours are 9-4 for registered attendees on Tuesday and Wednesday and on Thursday there are no afternoon classes and we will do door prizes around 2 pm. This way anyone needing to leave can be in their way. The show closes at 3 on Thursday
10-4 for walk in shoppers each day at the door, walk in is only for shopping & viewing the rugs.
You may wonder what all the excitement and hype is about. Why would you pay for 1, 2 or even 3 days to sit and do just what you can do at home…. Well, here’s just a glimpse of why everyone loves a Hookin! You get to totally indulge yourself in days of creativity, inspiration, and camaraderie at this 3-day event! Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned rug hooker, stitcher or puncher you will find something that brings joy at this event. A new piece of wool or a new frame? A kit that’s ready for you to create?
Maybe a class on something new and don’t forget the free demos!
PLUS:
1. You will be surrounded by 350-400 likeminded Rug Hookers, Oxford punchers, mini punchers, appliquérs and other fiber artists.
2. You will see so many styles of all of the above that your head will spin with ideas, motivation and inspiration!
3. You will get to shop some of the top rug hooking vendors, designers, dyers and suppliers, from all over the country, of all of the above art forms!
4. You will be able to attend 16-18 FREE demos over the three days. There will be at least 6 each day, except Thursday is only 4 in the am to allow door prize drawings and rug show awards.
5. You can sign up, for a fee, for a mini class each day!

6. You will be able to view 100’s of rugs, both hooked, punched, mini punch pieces and appliqué at our rug show. All brought by your fellow artisans for display and maybe a ribbon or prize or two!
7. Hotels within walking distance or only a few miles away with discounted blocks of rooms.
8. Columbia, South Carolina is a beautiful small “city " with much history and great shops and restaurants
9. It’s July…. It’s 100 degrees everywhere….. why not spend it inside a beautiful, air-conditioned convention center with others having fun?!?!
