Our backings are woven for us to our specs and we have imported it for over 22 years. We are very porous to supply so many shops and designers and also help guilds build their treasury by buying and reselling to guild member with a small mark up. Our monks cloth has a square grid instead of two lines and we feel this is a wonderful designing tool! 
Our linen is an even weave and suitable for #5 up to wide hand torn strips and proddy work.
